Britain's Paramount-Warner review could mean new promises for viewers

Viewers could see promises on news, children's programmes and UK investment instead of an outright block. Britain's culture minister Lisa Nandy said she was leaning towards a public-interest review, while lawyers and advisers said any delay could encourage voluntary commitments. Paramount and Warner have until July 6 to reply, with possible pledges covering ITN, children's television and Leavesden studios.
