Bristol Mother Sentenced for Killing Her Three Children

A Bristol mother who killed her three young children has been given an indefinite hospital order and will be held in a secure psychiatric unit. Yasmeen Ali, 44, admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility after the deaths of Fares, seven, Joury, three, and baby Mohammed at their Sea Mills home in February 2024. Her defence said she had been suffering from acute psychosis.
