Brexit-backing Welsh town still struggles for jobs
Ebbw Vale, a Welsh town that strongly backed Brexit, is still quiet with few jobs despite huge EU funding for regeneration. Ten years ago, it had Wales' highest proportion of Leave voters, even though the money built new facilities like a hospital and college. A local museum volunteer noted the new railway station is mostly used by people commuting to Cardiff.
