Understanding how brains learn and creating better AI systems could be improved by new findings. MIT researchers, led by Mark Harnett, found evidence for this in a study published February 25 in the journal Nature. Researchers trained mice to control 8 to 10 neurons with a brain-computer interface, connecting their activity to sugary rewards.
