Bodhana Sivanandan, 11, becomes youngest woman chess grandmaster
Bodhana Sivanandan, from north-west London, gained her third and final WGM norm playing for England at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Fide, the International Chess Federation, verified she is the youngest player in history to meet the criteria for the woman grandmaster title. Sivanandan told Fide on Sunday that she is happy but wants to "keep making history" in chess.
