BMW skips October Paris car show as new CEO cuts costs

BMW is skipping this year's Paris car show in October due to a "shift in priorities" as its new CEO cuts expenses. The decision follows a profit warning last month caused by weaker demand in China and the Middle East conflict. Milan Nedeljkovic, who became chief executive in May, is overseeing a cost-cutting push and the development of new electric models.
