Across the UK, 1 in 13 people do not reach the age of 60, but in Blackpool this figure is 1 in 7, or 14.7%. Health Equals, a health inequality campaign group, built the figures from Office for National Statistics data covering deaths from 2022 to 2024. Hart in Hampshire has the lowest rate at 4%.
