Birmingham councillor quits Labour after 'humiliation' voting with Reform

Birmingham's Labour Party lost a loyal councillor this week, as Diane Donaldson quit, feeling 'humiliated' by a controversial vote order. She quit after Labour leaders instructed them to vote with Reform UK during a recent council meeting, something she strongly opposed. Donaldson, a decade-long councillor for Hodge Hill and Bromford, will now sit as an Independent.
