Birmingham City close to signing USA defender Kristoffer Lund

Birmingham City is reportedly close to signing 24-year-old USA international left-back Kristoffer Lund from Italian side Palermo. Lund would be their fifth signing, after Luis Vazquez was acquired earlier this week. Lund spent last season on loan at FC Koln in the Bundesliga.
