Belfast Pride event disrupted by protesters over police uniform ban

Protesters disrupted a Belfast Pride discussion on Saturday over police participation, criticising the PSNI's decision not to take part in parades in uniform. Deputy Chief Constable Bobby Singleton said the 2023 uniform ban was his hardest decision in 25 years of policing. He added that a formal apology over the historical treatment of the LGBT community is being discussed.
