Bedford train crash kills driver, nine critical

A train driver died and 100 people were injured after two East Midlands Railway services collided near Bedford on Friday. Twenty-eight people remain in hospital, with nine in critical condition after the crash at about 17:15 BST. British Transport Police are investigating and have asked people not to speculate on what happened.
