Barcelona reject Spain defender Aymeric Laporte despite his offer

Spain defender Aymeric Laporte offered himself to Barcelona during the World Cup, but the club's sporting management won't sign him. Coach Hansi Flick feels he has enough defensive options and trusts other players already in the squad. Barcelona also fear direct negotiations with Athletic Bilbao for Laporte, who is under contract until 2028.
