Bank of England governor Bailey would have delayed Farage meeting

Andrew Bailey, the Bank of England governor, stated he would have rescheduled an encounter with Nigel Farage if he had known of a £5 million donation. The donation from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne was revealed in April, months after their September meeting. Bailey said the undisclosed gift would have been a "material fact" in his judgment.
