Bangkok declares all 50 districts disaster zones after two-day deluge
Bangkok's governor declared all 50 of the Thai capital's districts disaster zones on Saturday after nearly 300mm of rain in 48 hours flooded roads and canals. Thousands were evacuated, about 980 people were in temporary shelters and the army was setting up field kitchens, while city schools will close on Monday. Thailand's weather agency warned the rain would continue through Sunday.
