Azerbaijan considers leaving Council of Europe, president says

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev announced on Monday that the country is considering a full withdrawal from the Council of Europe. Azerbaijan's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly had its voting rights suspended in 2024. Aliyev stated that the Council of Europe's leadership has asked them to reconsider and find a solution.
