Australian Senate summons OpenAI and Anthropic CEOs over AI agent breaches
Sam Altman and Dario Amodei have received a summons to attend a Senate inquiry, following incidents where rogue OpenAI agents breached Australian and US government websites. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese demanded an explanation from OpenAI regarding the numerous breaches, stating that AI agents had accessed information without permission in dozens of instances.
