Australia top final Commonwealth Games medal table
Australia finished top of the Commonwealth Games medal table in Glasgow with 70 golds and 171 medals overall, led by swimmer Meg Harris's six individual titles and 76 total swimming medals. Host nation Scotland placed fifth with 13 golds, England took 29, and Wales finished ninth with nine. South African swimmer Chad le Clos won his 21st Commonwealth medal, a new all time record.
