Aston Villa selling Europa League winners due to financial rules

By May, six players from Aston Villa's Europa League winning team might have departed before the transfer window closes. The club is required to adhere to UEFA's squad cost ratio, which caps expenditure on wages and transfer fees at 70% of football revenue. Villa have already been fined twice for breaches, including a £19.4 million penalty in June.
