Assisted dying bill back, Labour party divided
A Labour MP is bringing back a bill that would allow assisted deaths in England and Wales. Rochester and Strood MP Lauren Edwards plans to reintroduce the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, which fell in April. Its return is sparking a new 'civil war' in the Labour Party, which was narrowly split by the bill before.
