Apple Shuts UAE Stores Amid Rising Regional Tensions
In response to growing unrest in the Middle East, Apple has temporarily closed all five of its retail stores and corporate offices in the United Arab Emirates. The closures, affecting locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, come as the UAE government urged private companies to limit outdoor worker presence amid safety concerns tied to recent military escalation involving the US, Israel and Iran.
