Apple reportedly planning to develop servers again to cash in on the AI Chip boom
Apple is apparently looking to re-enter the server business, potentially using its efficient ARM-based M processors. The company retired its Xserve line in 2011 but sees an opportunity due to the increasing demand for computing power in the AI industry. These new servers, possibly featuring two or four M8 Ultra chips, are not expected to launch until 2029.
