Apple Maps renames Lake Ontario to Lake America for US users
Apple has changed Lake Ontario's name on its Maps app for US users, following an order from President Donald Trump. The renaming is part of Washington's trade dispute with Canada, after talks collapsed last month and new tariffs were imposed. Google also made a similar change for its US users last week, while Canada has installed signs affirming the original name.
