Apple has reportedly issued legal letters to approximately 40 former employees now at OpenAI, instructing them to retain pertinent documents for a trade secret lawsuit. The tech giant believes confidential information was taken beyond the individuals named in its initial complaint filed last week. Apple is suing OpenAI and two former executives for allegedly using its proprietary designs and manufacturing processes.
