Apple exploring new tech to run bigger AI models on iPhones

A report indicates Apple is considering PrismML's technology for operating substantially larger AI models on iPhones. PrismML has already managed to get Alibaba's Qwen 3.6 model, which has 27 billion parameters, working entirely on an iPhone 17 Pro. PrismML's technology could mean more Apple Intelligence features run on your device, potentially cutting Apple's costs and boosting user privacy.
