Anthropic value hits $380 billion after new funding

The US startup behind the Claude chatbot secured $30 billion from investors, with reports identifying Singapore's GIC and Coatue Management as leaders of the round. This deal more than doubles the firm's total worth to $380 billion, rising from $183 billion just last September. Annualised sales have reached $14 billion, driven by strong demand for its coding tools among business clients. According to the Guardian, the company expects to stop losing money and break even by 2028.
