Anthropic signs huge $11.6bn cloud deal with Akamai
AI firm Anthropic has agreed an $11.6 billion, seven-year deal to use Akamai's cloud infrastructure, which could grow to $20 billion. Anthropic is set to receive central processing unit access from Akamai, which has additionally issued a warrant for approximately 5% of its common stock. Akamai has not previously incorporated a warrant into a cloud agreement; this follows a $1.8 billion deal made in May.
