Anthropic signs $9.1 billion deal for AI computing power with a Bitcoin mining company

AI firm Anthropic has secured a huge 20-year deal worth $9.1 billion with Bitcoin miner Riot Platforms. The agreement is to ensure Anthropic has enough computing capacity for its artificial intelligence operations. Riot Platforms have been aggressively positioning themselves as a compute provider company transitioning from a crypto miner.
