Andy Burnham criticises Russia for "industrial-scale assault" on UK

Andy Burnham stated that the UK and its allies have faced an "industrial-scale assault" from hostile states, including Russia. Addressing the UN General Assembly in New York, he charged Russia with disseminating falsehoods and misinformation, attempting interference in the 2019 General Election. Mr Burnham highlighted the Kremlin spends about £1.3 billion yearly on information manipulation.
