Andy Burnham creates new department to run No 10 and drive growth

Louise Haigh will lead the new Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, which takes on work from the Cabinet Office, Treasury and housing ministry. The department will oversee No 10 in London and a planned No 10 North in Manchester, with some civil servants encouraged to move there. Other Cabinet Office jobs will transfer to a new agency called OneGov.
