Amazon Web Services glitch gives customers billion-dollar bills

An error with Amazon Web Services' billing system caused some customers to see their monthly bills jump from cents to billions of dollars. The cloud computing giant said the issue, which began on Thursday, July 16, was due to a problem with unit pricing. AWS is rolling back a recent change and expects the global issue to be resolved by this weekend.
