Amazon plans new Alexa phone after 2014 device failed
People may soon have a new way to interact with Amazon's services through a smartphone focused on Alexa. Reports indicate Amazon is planning this device, codenamed 'Transformer', over a decade after its 2014 Fire Phone failed. Amazon's first Fire Phone, which cost $199 unlocked, ceased sales after barely a year due to its immediate failure.
