Aldi investing £5 billion in UK food

British farmers and food producers will gain greater certainty, helping to strengthen domestic supply chains. Aldi is committing over £5 billion to long-term supplier agreements with UK producers to support agriculture's growth. The supermarket aims to source 50% of its domestic produce via these deals by 2027, including £1.1 billion for egg production.
