AI hedge fund sells most public stocks after big losses
Situational Awareness, an AI hedge fund, sold most of its public stock portfolio to Citadel after losing money recently. The fund, started by former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, had seen assets grow to $45 billion before a sharp decline in AI infrastructure investments. However, it still holds a $5 billion stake in Anthropic, which is expected to go public soon.
