Aer Lingus to cut 500 jobs and Dublin routes over higher fuel prices

Ireland's national airline, Aer Lingus, revealed on Thursday its intention to eliminate as many as 500 positions and discontinue multiple routes originating from Dublin. The airline stated these changes are "essential" to improve its operating margins. Higher fuel prices are a key factor in the decision.
