Nine in ten unsolved London murders had non-white victims

New research shows that killers of black people in London are more likely to avoid justice than those who target white people. Between 2019 and 2023, 92.9% of unsolved murder cases in the capital involved non-white victims, with black people making up 73% of these cases. The Met Police state that reduced confidence in policing within black communities deters victims and witnesses from reporting incidents.
