UK demands Meta extend US teen safety features to Britain.

The UK government is calling for Meta's new safety features, currently available to teenagers in the US, to be implemented in Britain too. Work and Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden said young people in the UK shouldn't have less protection than those in America. Meta reached a settlement of up to $18 billion (£13.3 billion) in US lawsuits alleging that its platforms damage teen mental health.
