Norwich Airport closing Friday due to air traffic control strikes, cancelling all flights

Norwich Airport will be closed for a whole day this week on 28 August, with all flights cancelled because of an air traffic control strike. The ongoing pay dispute with the Prospect union meant staff began working strictly to contract last Monday, causing cancellations previously. The airport said it is committed to resolving the issue through constructive talks.
