Foster carers praise Dolly Parton's free book scheme for helping children's literacy

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, started in 1995, gives a free book each month to children under five. Barbara Hubbard, a Berwick foster carer, said the books are "just amazing" and have helped children with speech issues. Social worker Leigh Finlay also noted the books are "transformational" for some children in care.
