Qatar PM visits Tehran to reopen Strait of Hormuz.

Military strikes have paused for almost a month, but Washington is now threatening heavier economic sanctions against Tehran. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani hopes to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route where daily oil shipments have crashed from 20 million barrels to five million. Iranian forces say the channel will stay closed until America lifts its own blockades and pays compensation.
