81-year-old Gary Glitter denied parole until 2025

Public safety concerns mean Gary Glitter will stay in prison longer, despite reports of his declining health. Authorities returned Paul Francis Gadd, known as Glitter, to prison after he breached licence terms following his February 2023 release. His most recent appeal for release was denied on June 17, 2025, due to an ongoing threat to children.
