A tourist coach heading towards Kathmandu veered off an edge and dropped two hundred metres into a riverbank. Emergency teams reported that twenty-five individuals suffered injuries, while nineteen travellers died, including a 24-year-old UK citizen. Rescuers transported all survivors to medical facilities in the capital city as officials investigate what triggered this event. Transport accidents happen frequently across these steep regional areas due to poorly maintained infrastructure.
