30 women join potential UK lawsuit against Pfizer
British solicitors are exploring claims against Pfizer concerning its contraceptive injection, Depo-Provera. One firm, Austen Hays, states that over 30 women have contacted them after developing meningiomas following long-term use. Studies indicate the drug carries a higher risk of these benign brain tumours, which can lead to blindness and seizures. This follows similar legal battles in the US involving thousands of plaintiffs.
