20,000 people rally against Belfast racism

It's a significant show of support since violence erupted this week, with families forced to flee their homes after racist attacks. The 'Together Against Hate' protest at Belfast City Hall on Saturday brought together political parties, trade unions and local groups. To date, law enforcement officials have detained 23 individuals, with charges having been filed against 17 of them, following multiple nights of civil unrest that resulted in damaged residences and torched vehicles.
