183 incoming planes delayed after JetBlue engine breaks

A JetBlue passenger jet heading towards Florida flew back to Newark airport on Wednesday evening following mechanical trouble. Travellers and crew escaped onto the tarmac without any injuries using inflatable chutes once fumes filled the cabin. This incident forced airport authorities to halt nearby operations for roughly one hour, causing widespread delays. Federal Aviation Administration inspectors are currently examining what caused the commercial aeroplane to experience an emergency.
