135 MPs seek block on EHRC code

Trans people could face changes to access in places such as hospital wards, toilets and changing areas if proposed rules take effect. On 16 June, a group of MPs questioned whether guidance linked to a court decision on sex under the Equality Act can work in everyday settings and backed a Commons motion against it. Among 135 signatories, 69 are from Labour.
