10% More Cancers Detected with AI Tool

Earlier breast cancer treatment is more likely with improved detection from an artificial intelligence tool. The University of Aberdeen led an NHS Grampian project, evaluating Mia AI during routine screening of over 10,000 women. It increased detection by 10.4%, also reducing staff workload and patient notification times.
