Why visit Commonwealth nations?
The King's tour to the Bahamas, Guyana, and Antigua and Barbuda highlights the Commonwealth's significance. These are all former British colonies and members of the Commonwealth, an association of 56 independent states. The King is Head of the Commonwealth, and such tours reinforce these ties, though some nations are questioning their future within the group.
