Why the recording loophole?

The loophole allowed users to start recording with Meta's smart glasses, and then cover the LED light that indicates recording is in progress. This meant people could secretly record others, bypassing the intended privacy feature. Meta has now fixed this by making the camera stop working if the light is obstructed during recording.
