Why kill 'Old Reddit'?
'Old Reddit' is a legacy design, less suited for modern advertising and user engagement metrics. By restricting access, Reddit pushes users towards its newer interface, which offers more opportunities for targeted ads and features designed to keep users on the platform longer. This is a common strategy for tech companies.
