Why keep tactics secret?
Keeping a tactical plan secret, as Hull City's manager Sergej Jakirovic did, creates a significant element of surprise. Opposing teams won't have time to prepare or train against it, giving the secretive team an advantage. This unexpected approach can disrupt the opponent's usual game plan and exploit their weaknesses, as it seemingly did for Hull against Manchester United.
